| This features Kai and his alter ego, and was inspired by the writer Hunter S Thompson
Chapter 1: Chase The Dream
The American Dream, spoken highly of all around the globe, searched for by all men and women, those in America take long road trips to all different states to find it, those in different countries pour in their hard earned money to try and reach that promised land of the free and home of the brave, little do we people know that this dream is one that can never be fulfilled, and I was about to realise that on the trip I was embarking on.
We were driving down to the airport in London, how glad I was to finally be heading the promised lands, only a short drive and a six to eight hour flight away. Me and my friend Kaiser Hellfir, had been travelling for hours, my brain couldn't hack much more of this excitement, I finally called out "Jesus how long until we reach this god damned airport!?"
Dear Kaiser simply rpelied "Not long now Kadmus." Not long now...not long now, he'd been saying that for the last damned hour and my patience to be honest, was beginning to wear thin. Still I decided to remain quiet, lord knows if me and Kaiser fell victim to an accident because of my consistant babbling and whining, we may never reach America.
Seeing as I had this eternal journy until the airport and my patience only made it seem to be even longer, I decided to close my eyes, and remind myself, exactly what it was that brought me and my associate to chase the American Dream.
See about three months ago I had applied to a contest, a trip to New York City, the place where the American Dream would certainly be answered, I filled out the forms as required and tried to forget about it over time, but my brian wouldn't let me, dear god I tried! But for two months I rushed to the door to check the mail, not a single letter was to say whether I had won or lost, instantly I thoght my hopes were crushed, that I had not won this chance, and would have to spend the next good year saving up money to be able to pay for me and Kai. Then, three weeks before me and Kai took this eventful trip, the letter arrived "Congratulations, you are a winner" Indeed I was, I had won many things I won my trip to America, my chance to chase the dream...and a chance to fulfill it.
If anybody dares chase the American Dream, they require, hope, passion, detemrination, and I for one, am completely filled with all of them, and Kaiser was too, I could see it in his eyes, he understood what we could achieve in that city, in that country, or at least, it looked like he did.
My train of thought was interrupted when finally Kai simply and shortly pointed oput "We're here...finally" Finally indeed my legs needed a good stretch after that ordeal, the car was a memory of the angst and boredom I suffered on that trip to the airport, now I had to wait another agonising six to eight hours on a plane. The seatbelt sign is lit, buckle up, take off, America-here we come.

| PART 2 REWRITTEN
Chapter 2:Air Delivery Some of the stuff I written in the original is still here, just not the language
Dear God the airport, the abomination of an airport. Men, women, children fleeing around, screaming, utterly lost in the maze of desks and chairs. I was in the middle of a damn human post office, and I was the next delivery for this place.
The way to the plane was agonising, the waiting, the sitting next to awkward smelly brats and love struck teens making out on the cold steel chairs. It sickened me, those teenagers, sitting there sharing each others toungues. They think that is love. They do not know love, as long as they have a toungue down their throat and a person to claw in their forplay...they need no love. Kai looked perfectly uninterested by his surroundings, he was used to this hell, this sick version of humanity. I was nor, dear god I hope America is different....I know it will be.
The flight, even longer keeping me caged like an animal, if the sign was lit, you must keep your seatbelt on, if the sign went off, the only place to venture was the bathroom. Which was once occupied by the teens from earlier...it makes me gag at the filth and perversion that could be taking place in there.
Hell, that is the only word that can describe my first flight on a plane, utter hell. Kai knew how I was feeling and wold keep reasurring me "This is expected on a plane...never filled with sane people" How right he was....the insanity of these humans baffled me...I could not explain the fear in my heart I had on that trip. What was wrong with these peope, these British people, they mock the americans for their crazy ways, but if they spent a day looking at themselves, they would see the true crazy country.
"Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, we're now landing in New York City the weather predicted for this week is sunny skies and beautiful breeze. We hope you enjoy your time. Thankyou for choosing Easy Jet"
Ha! Easy Jet, there was nothing easy about that flight but no matter. Me and Kai hd landed. Praise the lord, freedom from these nutcases, freedom from Britain for a week. My heart was filled with joy. I felt like a young boy in a sweet shop. I was just crazy enough, to take all the sweets, america had to offer me.... | |
